Description

You will drive strategic supply network development and cost management of product hardware across their lifecycles. You'll collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize costs and accelerate product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field
• 5+ years experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work
• Ability to travel 10-40%
• Ability to work onsite in Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for products
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping, trade-offs, should cost models, and joint design development
• Drive manufacturing BOM development and consolidation
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI
• Lead cost engineering activities to converge bottom-up cost curve to product cost
