Description

You will oversee daily lab operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety procedures. You'll collaborate with the manager to meet department goals, handle employee performance reviews, and maintain team morale.

Requirements

• 2+ years as Medical Technologist or equivalent in clinical lab
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or related field
• Current MT/MLS/CLS certification preferred (ASCP, AMT, AAB)
• Proven leadership experience
• Molecular Biology, GMP, and QSR experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily lab operations including staffing, scheduling, and sample run schedules
• Ensure production work meets department goals and all samples are processed
• Monitor adherence to SOPs and safety procedures
• Oversee new hire training and document nonconformance reports
• Conduct staff performance reviews and handle employee issues
