💼 About This Role

You'll join the CLAW engineering team to build and maintain data pipelines and pricing systems for NerdWallet's consumer finance products. You'll drive data-driven decisions by optimizing partner ingestion and creating robust pricing automation. This role offers the chance to mentor engineers and shape the engineering roadmap.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain API and file-based partner ingestion pipelines
• Replace Google Sheets-based pricing workflows with automated systems
• Design dashboards for real-time data insights and decision-making
• Develop automation tools to streamline manual investigations

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in full-stack software engineering
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and SQL databases
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in consumer credit, lending, or insurance
• Familiarity with Next.js, React, or GraphQL
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
