Description

As an IT Operations Engineer on Point72's Infrastructure Technology Team, you will provide hands-on technical support for end-user computing, including Apple MacBooks, Windows systems, and mobile devices, ensuring best-in-class service for investment professionals. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, empower clients through self-service, and contribute to a global, innovative team.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in client service, desktop support or technical support role
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry
• Knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Neovest)
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Splunk, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and insightful advice to clients
• Acknowledge and address all client queries with patience and empathy
• Manage client expectations to enhance the overall technology experience
• Develop written project plans to manage small and large-scale projects
• Perform moves, adds and changes as needed; document and track incidents in Jira Service Management
