Description

This role will support indirect supplier management and SG&A spend reduction initiatives. You will identify and execute cost-saving projects, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive value and mitigate risk.

Requirements

• Advanced degree and 4+ years or bachelor's degree and 6+ years or 10+ years in purchasing, contract negotiation, operations, supply chain management, or related field
• Deep understanding of transportation processes for inbound freight (air, sea, port to warehouse)
• Experience with carrier cost models and logistics technology tools (ASN, TMS)
• Experience with Python, data mining, data structure, or programming
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute cost-saving projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate updates
• Analyze global supply chain dynamics and develop procurement strategies to balance cost and risk
• Assist in authoring contract documents and manage supplier contract performance
• Negotiate to maximize value and cost savings while lowering risk
• Manage preferred supplier relationships and collaborate on supplier selection and improvement plans
