Description

You will help scale Roku's experimentation platform by developing scalable statistical methods and building tooling for engineers, product managers, and marketers to self-serve experiments. You'll own the experimentation roadmap, define statistical standards, lead A/B test design and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with PhD in quantitative field OR 5+ years with master's degree
• Deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning
• Hands-on experience in experimental design, A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical modeling
• Expertise in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or similar programming languages
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker

Responsibilities

• Own the experimentation roadmap for Core Analytics in partnership with Product and Engineering
• Define standard for statistical analysis across experiments, ensuring robust results with minimal bias
• Lead design, implementation, and analysis of A/B tests using Bayesian inference and causal methods
• Develop data pipelines for automation, validation, and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data science initiatives with organizational goals
