💼 About This Role

You'll drive conversion improvements across our web product by analyzing user behavior, conducting competitor research, and turning insights into experiment ideas. You'll focus on audits and hypothesis generation rather than design execution, working with high ownership. This role offers fast-paced growth in a product-focused team.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Conduct competitor and market research across SaaS funnels.
  • Mine quantitative data from analytics tools to identify drop-off points.
  • Analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and attention data for CRO opportunities.
  • Deliver 10–15 experiment ideas per week scored with ICE framework.

📋 Requirements

  • 3+ years in UX research with competitor audits and usability studies.
  • Experience with subscription-based or freemium products and recurring revenue funnels.
  • Fluency with heatmaps, session recordings, and A/B test platforms.
  • Comfortable pulling insights from Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience in fast-paced startup or growth team with high experimentation volume.
  • Familiarity with behavioral psychology principles (anchoring, loss aversion, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of front-end implementation to gauge build difficulty.

🎁 Benefits & Perks

  • 🏖️ Unlimited PTO
  • 🌍 Remote work environment
  • 💻 Company-provided MacBook
  • 🎉 Paid national holidays
  • 📄 Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement

📨 Hiring Process

Recruiter Screening (40 min), Take-Home Assignment, Final Interview (60 min).

🚩 Heads Up

  • Role mixes researcher and CRO duties, potentially overloading.
  • High weekly output (10-15 experiment ideas) may sacrifice quality.
  • Independent contractor agreement with tax implications may not suit everyone.
