Description

As a technician on the Thermal Protection Systems team, you will maintain, program, and operate robotic and automated systems for heat shield manufacturing and integration. Your work supports the Starship spacecraft, protecting it during atmospheric reentry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Experience with hand tools or power tools
• Experience with Kuka, Fanuc, or other 6-axis robots preferred
• 3+ years technician experience preferred
• Ability to work shifts and overtime

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair robotic welders, vacuum chambers, and CNC machines
• Replace electrical and mechanical components
• Support fabrication of ceramic tiles and thermal protection components
• Document processes precisely for replication
• Perform hardware inspection and rework
