Description

You will architect, design, and build large-scale distributed systems for Okta's Auth0 identity platform. Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to define technology direction, lead innovation in IAM and agentic identity, and mentor engineers. This hands-on role involves coding in Node.js and Go, working with cloud technologies, and driving technical decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years software development experience, 5+ years cloud applications
• Mastery of distributed systems and hands-on development
• Experience with identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and AI agents/MCP servers
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with multiple teams
• Experience with cloud security and application security best practices

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Engineering teams to define and improve Auth0 technology stack and architecture
• Lead innovation in IAM with focus on Agentic Identity
• Design, architect, and document large-scale distributed systems
• Embed within engineering teams for large projects, providing guidance and mentorship
• Participate in incident commander on-call rotation for high-severity incidents
