Description

You will develop simulation and optimization models to predict manufacturing process behavior, own the design of new production lines, and drive operational improvements for next-generation defense products. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and are delivered on-time.

Requirements

• 8+ years in fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with Technomatix Plant Sim or equivalent DES software
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (Python, R, C++, Java) or SQL/NOSQL
• Ability to read technical documentation and work in ambiguity
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Capture current process into 3D simulation-based virtual factory
• Create feasible plans and schedules for shop floor and warehouse execution
• Maintain adaptive digital factory model for future performance determination
• Design new production lines and workstation layouts using data-driven approach
• Identify bottlenecks and drive resolution across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality
