Description

You will own and evolve core accounting operations at a high-growth infrastructure-as-code company. You'll lead month-end close, technical accounting, sales tax compliance, and system improvements, working closely with the Head of Finance to scale processes for public company readiness.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of accounting experience, including meaningful time in public accounting
• Startup or high-growth tech company experience with ability to build processes under resource constraints
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, especially ASC 606, ASC 842, and internal controls
• Proficiency with Netsuite, Excel/Google Sheets, and modern finance tools
• CPA strongly preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Conduct technical accounting research on complex issues and new pronouncements
• Oversee multi-state and country sales tax compliance and reconciliation
• Establish and maintain internal controls aligned with public company readiness
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll processes
