Description

You will lead a nursing team on day shift in a long-term care facility, ensuring high-quality resident care through staff management, clinical oversight, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing. Your role involves assessing residents, supervising charge nurses, and promoting professional development.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of practice
• Two years long-term care supervisory experience preferred
• Three to five years long-term care or similar nursing experience
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects and transfer residents up to 200+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Assigns staff to ensure equal distribution of duties
• Completes rounds to assess residents and care quality
• Receives and delivers shift reports to Director of Nursing
• Manages staff performance and disciplines as needed
• Directs patient care using sound nursing judgment
