Description

You will maintain sanitation in the facility, including cleaning production floors, breaking down cardboard, disposing of waste, and using approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces. This role supports a fast-paced environment to help feed thousands of families in Canada.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year experience in food processing, manufacturing, or service industry
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods with bending, twisting, and walking
• Willing to work in refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C)
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Break down cardboard and load into compactor
• Keep production floors clean; sweep and mop
• Dispose of waste from production lines
• Use approved chemicals to clean and disinfect surfaces
• Refill soap and hand towels in bathrooms and lunchroom
