You'll lead the modernization of patient-facing backend services and drive event-driven architecture in a health tech platform. You'll shape scalable, secure systems that handle sensitive patient data in a regulated environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design and modernization of patient-facing backend services
• Drive API design best practices including BFF and orchestration patterns
• Design and implement event-driven workflows using AWS EventBridge
• Improve reliability and fault tolerance of communication pipelines

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems
• Strong experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask) or similar frameworks
• Deep expertise in event-driven architectures on AWS (EventBridge, SQS/SNS)
• Proven ability to define and govern REST and/or GraphQL APIs at scale

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or scaling communication platforms (email, SMS, notifications)
• Familiarity with BFF patterns supporting React or modern frontend applications
• Experience with contract testing frameworks (e.g., Pact)
