Description

You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing machine learning models and AI capabilities for AdTech use cases. Your work will define the AI strategy, drive model optimization, and ensure compliance with privacy and ethical standards. This role is key to accelerating AI adoption across Smartly's product suite.

Requirements

• 7+ years building services/products
• 5+ years applying ML to real-life problems
• 3+ years leading teams
• Proficient in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, SQL
• Proven experience delivering scalable ML systems in production
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant field (Mathematics, CS, AI, Physics)
• Excellent English communication, ability to work 3 days/week onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the AI Foundations team, providing technical direction and strategic vision
• Drive development of AdTech-specific ML models and foundational AI capabilities
• Optimize existing models for performance, efficiency, and scalability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI-driven features deliver measurable impact
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and ethical AI standards
