Description

As a Level II NDE Inspector, you will perform surface inspections (VT, PT) on flight components and production assemblies for the Starship program, interpret and report findings, support technique development, and assist in training others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• NDE Level II certification in ET, RT, DR, PT, CR, PAUT, UT, or UTSW per ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD; OR 3+ years inspection experience in aerospace/aviation/military/precision machining; OR completion of certified NDE/NDT school
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, stoop, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periods
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Perform surface NDE inspections including VT and PT
• Interpret and report findings to production and engineering teams
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Support development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries
• Assist in training and developing others on the team
