Description

You'll build foundational infrastructure that accelerates product development at Anthropic, focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer experience. You'll work on hard infrastructure problems that power AI product development and serve hundreds of thousands of users globally.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience building backend product or platform systems
• Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native products, or developer tools

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize critical development infrastructure including dev environments, observability, and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain core infrastructure such as service mesh, observability systems, and deployment pipelines
• Develop cloud-agnostic tooling and cross-cloud networking for multi-cloud operations
• Create scalable solutions for user authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
• Build training systems for task-specific adaptation of AI models
