You'll design and build scalable backend systems and APIs for Twilio's Segment CDP platform, collaborating with product and engineering teams to balance velocity, stability, and customer impact. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge data and AI products while using latest AI tools to accelerate development.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build robust backend systems and APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and engineers
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly
• Troubleshoot and improve system reliability and tooling
• Participate in an on-call rotation for managed services

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years writing production-grade code in a modern language
• Experience with Go, Java, Python, or similar languages
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems on cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS)
• Experience with CI/CD development paradigm

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka, Pulsar)
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Experience in a geographically distributed team
