Description

You will lead the science behind ads measurement at Pinterest, designing causal inference methods and applying AI/ML to improve measurement products. You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams and represent Pinterest externally with customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods on web-scale data
  • 5+ years in ads measurement with focus on ad effectiveness and incrementality
  • Proficiency in SQL and expertise in Python or R
  • Strong business and product sense with track record of turning ambiguous questions into defined analyses
  • Experience applying AI/ML methods to analytics, experimentation, or measurement

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement causal inference methods for incrementality and lift measurement
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to improve scale, speed, and quality of ads measurement
  • Ensure scientific rigor in measurement products by mitigating bias, imbalance, and data quality issues
  • Influence Ads Product roadmap and integrate science solutions into products
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists
