💼 About This Role

You'll collaborate with the AI Tools squad to implement and improve AI features like Logo maker and AI Images in the Photoroom app. You'll design and architect new features, chaining internal and external services for high-quality image generation. You'll monitor and scale the FastAPI service using Datadog to optimize performance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and improve AI features in collaboration with the AI Tools squad
• Design and architect new features chaining internal and external services

• Optimize private API speed and integrate multiple services

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing and updating internal REST APIs at scale
• Strong practical understanding of FastAPI or similar async Python HTTP framework
• Ability to keep async code truly async and protect the event loop
• Experience with integration testing in large Python projects and wiring external services

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI APIs in production
• Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and optimization
• Startup experience in a high-autonomy environment
