💼 About This Role

You'll build and evolve next-generation GraphQL runtime infrastructure for Apollo's platform. You'll own the Router and enable engineering teams to ship faster with richer experiences. You'll work on the most demanding GraphQL workloads in the world.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain fault-tolerant GraphQL runtime infrastructure in Rust.
• Triage, debug, and resolve escalations from enterprise customers.
• Operate and improve durable public APIs for large-scale GraphQL deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical system reliability.

📋 Requirements

• Experience with Rust writing performant, maintainable code.
• Expertise in systems engineering including stateless/fault-tolerant and distributed systems.
• Strong debugging instincts and hands-on operational work.
• Cross-team collaboration skills and a 'rising tide lifts all boats' mindset.

• Experience with GraphQL or large-scale runtime systems.
• Experience navigating high-escalation or high-incident environments.
