You'll join our growing engineering team in Berlin to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems using modern Java and cloud-native architectures. Your work will directly impact millions of users on the world’s largest community-driven shopping platform. You'll have real ownership over complex systems and see your impact at global scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17+
• Build microservice and event-driven architectures with GraphQL APIs
• Optimize data models using MySQL and NoSQL databases
• Implement performance testing and ensure high system reliability

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 17 or recent versions (11+)
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Reactive
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB

✨ Nice to Have

• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building AI-integrated backend systems
