💼 About This Role

You'll own the full procurement lifecycle across Giga's manufacturing operations, working directly with teams to source materials and negotiate terms. Your impact will be direct on whether manufacturing plants hit timelines and budgets. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role at the intersection of supply chain and operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the Purchase Order process from issuance through delivery
• Generate RFQs and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
• Track procurement timelines and proactively flag risks
• Partner with Order Managers to identify procurement needs
• Lead commercial negotiations for competitive pricing

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of material requirement planning for manufacturing
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships
• Communication skills to interface across engineering and operations

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in transformer or switchboard manufacturing
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365, NetSuite)
• Experience establishing a vendor network from the ground up
