You'll implement strategies to boost Fort Worth's competitiveness in target industries, leading incentives negotiations and promoting innovation in key districts. You'll work with the Economic Development Partnership to attract and retain high-growth employers.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing business attraction and expansion programs.
- Inventory key sites and evaluate availability, conditions, and readiness.
- Engage with existing businesses on growth and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct project analysis, negotiate incentive terms, and coordinate approvals.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economic and Community Development, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in economic/community development or real estate finance.
- Strong financial analysis skills including gap financing, benchmarking, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
✨ Nice to Have
- Master's degree in related field.
- 7 years of experience in economic/community development or real estate finance.
- Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) or similar professional designation.
