๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll join Okta's Employee Relations Compliance team to conduct sensitive workplace investigations and guide People Business Partners on performance management. You'll ensure equitable and transparent employee experiences across the company. This role offers the chance to shape global ER strategy at a leading identity security company.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Conduct prompt, thorough investigations into sensitive employee relations issues including EEO concerns
  • Coach People Business Partners and managers on managing ER issues and performance management
  • Support performance management and position elimination matters with guidance and recommendations
  • Collaborate on scaling and refining the ER function, including data analytics and global support

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant employee relations experience focused on investigations, employment legal, or HRBP
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and ability to influence cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated judgment in assessing and mitigating risk in complex situations

  • Advanced degree or law degree with specialized training in employment investigations
  • Experience supporting international employees and conducting international investigations
  • Experience supporting international employees with performance management
