You will lead strategic business partnerships and business development activities for Airbnb in Canada, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and manage partnerships that support business goals. This role involves evaluating partnership opportunities, building relationships, and localizing global go-to-market strategies to drive growth in the Canadian market.
Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development or related field.
- Critical: Relationship building and negotiation capabilities with external executive stakeholders.
- Maintain engagement of current partner ecosystem.
- Superpower: able to develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and product development.
- Deep business acumen to conduct extensive market research.
- Ideal: Prior experience in Consulting, Marketing, Finance, or Business Development roles.
- Ability to build relationships and influence internal executive stakeholders.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills.
- Equal parts right brain and left brain; able to disassemble problems and rebuild them creatively.
- Able to effectively partner with finance and legal teams.
- Strong project management and organization skills.
- Able to deal with massive complexity.
- Ability to work in both official languages is considered a nice to have.
- Ability to localize global GTM template to Canadian market.
