You'll design and evaluate flight-critical control laws for Mach's fixed-wing aircraft. You'll own the design, implementation, and validation of control systems from takeoff to landing. This role offers hands-on flight test and rapid iteration on next-gen defense platforms.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Design control systems for fixed-wing vehicles
  • Implement control laws accounting for actuator limits and sensor noise
  • Participate in system identification and aerodynamic model development
  • Execute verification & validation work including SIL/HIL and Monte Carlo
  • Participate in flight-test planning, execution, and post-flight analysis

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 0-5 years designing and fielding flight control systems for fixed-wing aircraft
  • Deep knowledge of flight dynamics, stability, and actuator/sensor modeling
  • Proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python for modeling and analysis

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern/MIMO control design (LQR, LQG, LTR)
  • Experience with PX4 and ROS 2
  • Familiarity with DO-178C/DO-331/ARP4754A processes
