Description

You will lead a full-stack team building customer features for Affirm Card using React Native and backend services. You will partner with Product, Design, and Analytics to define goals and priorities, while maintaining high engineering standards. Your role includes coaching, hiring, and contributing to architecture and code quality.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers or equivalent leadership.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
• Experience building with React Native or leading teams transitioning to it.
• Technical depth to guide architecture and quality decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills; hands-on technical leadership expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of engineers building customer experiences in React Native and backend services.
• Own delivery for your team’s roadmap, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Analytics to define goals, success metrics, and priorities.
• Maintain high engineering standards: system design, code quality, testing, observability, operational readiness.
• Hire and develop talent through structured interviews and effective closing.
