You'll lead the WhatsApp platform team at HighLevel, building scalable messaging and communication services. You'll architect systems to scale from 6 million to 20 million messages daily, ensuring reliability and performance. This role offers high impact with ownership of mission-critical infrastructure and direct influence on a global BSP platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Stabilize and scale the WhatsApp platform for millions of messages per day
• Optimize resource usage to reduce cloud costs while handling high throughput
• Lead long-term refactoring and deprecation of legacy systems
• Improve monitoring, tooling, and automation for developer velocity

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Strong experience with NoSQL data models, especially MongoDB
• Proven track record of architecting scalable high-performance web apps

• Experience with AI tools and contributions to open-source
