Description

You will install, maintain, and repair gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces in residential and commercial settings, ensuring safety and code compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as fireplace installer or HVAC technician preferred
• Knowledge of gas, venting, and electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble fireplaces, stoves, and inserts per manufacturer specs and building codes
• Perform site assessments and measurements for proper fit and ventilation
• Run venting systems, gas lines, and electrical connections
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing fireplace units
• Communicate with customers about operation, maintenance, and safety
