💼 About This Role

You'll build performant, secure, and scalable building blocks for Palantir Foundry and Gotham, enabling products deployed to the most important institutions. Your work will empower developers and end-users to work optimally. Some engineers may also embed with customers through the exclusive Frontline program for real-world impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build a performant search and indexing ecosystem for permissioned data.
• Develop distributed systems to power large-scale compute workloads.
• Design architecture and opinionated APIs for application developers.
• Automate deployment and management of distributed systems like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka.

📋 Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics or similar field.
• Strong coding skills in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
• Ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporating feedback and holding a high bar for quality.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience developing and managing highly-available distributed systems.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
