Description

You will lead a data science team at Stripe, driving strategy through modeling, analytics, and experimentation. You'll own the roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and build data-driven product experiences for money movement or growth.

Requirements

• PhD or MS or BS in quantitative field (Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, CS, Engineering)
• At least 3 years of direct management experience leading data science or ML teams
• 10+ years overall data science experience
• Expertise in designing metrics and guiding business decisions with data
• Managed teams that built and shipped machine learning systems and data products at scale

Responsibilities

• Drive roadmap and priorities for the data science team
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, operations, finance, and marketing stakeholders
• Manage and lead a high-performing team of data scientists
• Recruit and onboard data scientists
• Contribute to broad data science initiatives as part of management team
