You'll build and test prototype battery packs for light electric vehicles as part of a small agile team, focusing on passive propagation resistance. You'll collaborate with design, systems, and reliability engineers, executing end-to-end test plans and analyzing results. This role combines hands-on testing with data analysis and technical documentation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and test prototype battery packs for light EVs
• Evaluate battery safety with focus on passive propagation resistance
• Execute thermal, electrical, reliability, and safety testing
• Analyze test results and prepare technical summaries

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong grasp of lithium ion battery construction and failure modes
• Expertise in lab testing equipment for PPR/thermal runaway, shock/vibration
• Experience with data acquisition systems and scripting (Python, MATLAB)
