Description

You will service and maintain commercial generators that power cell towers and mission-critical communication systems across the Midwest and Northeast. As a field-based technician, you'll independently diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure system reliability. This role offers stable full-time work with company-provided truck, tools, and travel support.

Requirements

• Generator, electrical, diesel, or mechanical experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and service documentation
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout assigned region
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Experience with commercial generators is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial generators at telecom sites
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
• Install and replace generator components, wiring, controls, pumps, and related equipment
• Conduct performance testing and inspections to ensure system readiness and reliability
• Respond to generator alarms and service calls, including occasional on-call assignments
