💼 About This Role

You'll lead the mechatronic architecture of next-generation special purpose machines for dental prosthetics manufacturing at Dandy, a company transforming the dental industry. You'll drive innovation from concept through production, integrating precision robotics and motion control. This hybrid role offers the chance to bridge high-level robotic theory with physical execution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect precision robotic hardware systems for micron-level reliability.
• Lead rapid prototyping and structural/thermal analysis of components.
• Implement motor control logic, sensor fusion, and real-time feedback loops.
• Co-develop machine designs with vendors from specification to buy-off.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of machine-building experience in mechatronics or robotics.
• B.S./M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD platforms.
• Profound knowledge of robotic kinematics/dynamics and motor controllers.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience as a System Architect for an Automation System Integrator or OEM.
• Advanced knowledge of waveform tuning, PLC programming, or high-performance motion controllers.
• Experience with laser interferometry, high-resolution optical encoders, and sub-micron calibration.
