You will lead the architecture and implementation of a highly available, fault-tolerant subscriptions platform serving billions of viewers, owning initiatives end-to-end while coding roughly 80% of the time. Collaborate across teams to deliver resilient services and drive engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Experience leading architecture of highly available, fault-tolerant platforms.
• Proficiency with AWS/GCP and cloud-native services.
• Strong coding skills with ability to contribute 80% of time to hands-on development.
• Experience with queuing, event systems, and shared memory architectures.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and implementation of new technologies and designs.
• Engage in architectural discussions across multiple teams, influence roadmap, and own key initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Own design and implementation of shared architectural layers (queuing, event systems, shared memory).
• Champion best practices across development, QA, and infrastructure/ops.
