💼 About This Role

You'll lead or assist in process design for refinery and chemical facilities. Analyze and design equipment, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and provide technical support for field execution. Hybrid role based in Lisle, IL with growth opportunities in mentoring and leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct field and technical evaluations of existing process units
• Perform calculations and develop PFDs, P&IDs, and design documentation
• Interface with clients and construction teams; attend meetings and write reports
• Provide technical support for field execution including outage/turnaround projects

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of process engineering experience
• Knowledge of P&ID development, heat and material balances, hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines

✨ Nice to Have

• E.I.T. certification or PE license
• Knowledge of process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS)
