Description

You will assist in streamlining the production line by maintaining consistent progress flow, overseeing personnel and production to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time manufacturing. You will train new hires, operate various sections of the work center, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Ability to lead by example
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer familiarity
• Read and use a tape measure
• Read and perform mathematical calculations with numbers, fractions, and decimals; high school education or equivalency

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in overseeing personnel and production to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time manufacturing
• Operate all sections/stations of the work center for training and troubleshooting
• Assist department supervisor in handling production line personnel and work-flow
• Train new hires and transfers into the department
• Ensure safety equipment usage and quality control procedures
