You'll design and build foundational backend infrastructure for a fast-growing AI platform serving top law firms. You'll own systems like notifications and permissions that directly impact user engagement with Harvey's AI-powered legal tools. This role blends deep platform thinking with hands-on product iteration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend infrastructure for authentication, permissions, and notifications
• Build and evolve the internal product platform for multiple product lines
• Lead development of enterprise features like secure multi-party collaboration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, AI, design, and GTM teams

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend-focused software engineering experience
• Experience working across the stack to ship user-facing features
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, and databases
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS patterns such as RBAC and feature flags
