You'll contribute to scaling and advancing our entire data operation at Voleon, a technology company applying AI/ML to finance. You'll design and deliver large-scale data projects and mentor other engineers on the team. This role offers the chance to work with internationally recognized AI experts.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Guide initiatives from requirements gathering to deployment, evaluating technologies.
• Build scalable data infrastructure and shape developer experience.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor engineering and research staff.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proven track record of software design and implementation with focus on correctness and scale
• Experience with large codebases and building modular, extensible software
• Expertise in a modern language like Python, Go, Java, or C++

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud storage (e.g., Iceberg, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Building data platforms with a developer experience lens
• Familiarity with job scheduling (Airflow, Slurm)
