Description

You will join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll products. You'll lead major projects, contribute to product improvements, and help operationalize agentic workflows using Elixir and Phoenix.

Requirements

Strong engineering fundamentals with production systems experience
Experience designing agentic/automation workflows
Proficiency in Postgres or similar databases
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React

Responsibilities

Lead development of major team-scoped projects
Participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
Provide feedback on code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
Debug and solve technical and business issues
Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers
