💼 About This Role

You'll join Elk Valley Resources (EVR), a Glencore company, for an 8 or 12-month co-op in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. You'll support financial reporting and month-end processes for steelmaking coal mines. The role offers mentorship from seasoned specialists and a chance to experience outdoor adventure in a breathtaking location.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in health and safety programs and policies.
• Prepare reports for operational sites and Head Office.
• Assist with month-end close reporting and account reconciliations.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial, audit, and tax reporting.

📋 Requirements

• Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License without restrictions.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Prior experience with Dynamics AX is an asset.
• Superior financial skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
