💼 About This Role

You'll process FOIA requests and draft correspondence for a large federal agency. You'll ensure compliance with FOIA exemptions while coordinating with stakeholders. This role offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology in government innovation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive and analyze FOIA requests and prepare case folders.
• Enter request data in FOIA tracking database.
• Draft response letters and other FOIA correspondence.
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents and identify duplicates.

📋 Requirements

• Six (6) years of experience processing FOIA requests.
• Knowledge of FOIA exemptions b(4), b(5), b(6).
• Experience redacting trade secrets and confidential info.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience.
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS or SecureRelease.
• Active security clearance preferred.
