Description

You will work closely with team members to serve private equity-backed portfolio companies, conducting finance function diagnostics, designing process improvements, and supporting transformation initiatives. You'll manage workstreams, mentor junior team members, and help grow the firm through business development activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a client serving role at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Proven experience successfully leading workstreams, managing client and internal team dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of finance best practices related to professionalization of finance function
  • Generalist across or subject matter expert in financial business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, FP&A)
  • Extensive expertise in design and implementation of strategies, processes and technology to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit/shareholder value
  • Experience enabling financial processes with finance automation and technology deployment
  • Experience performing financial function assessments
  • Experience supporting strategic finance transformations
  • Experience working in a private equity environment
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong client service mindset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support finance function diagnostics
  • Design and support process enhancements across lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report, FP&A
  • Design future state operating platforms (organization structure, finance processes, technology stack)
  • Develop implementation plans for initiatives on a strategic roadmap, supported by quantified benefits/value
  • Support execution of plans to optimize technology, drive process automation
  • Support Transformation Directors in driving transformation program governance
  • Support coordination of change management across multiple functions and workstreams
  • Determine and measure ROI of improvement initiatives, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Bring financial expertise and leading practices to engagements
  • Manage transformation workstreams at a single client
  • Manage junior resources (Associates, or Analysts)
  • Interact and build relationships with all levels of client stakeholders and PE sponsors
  • Assist in growing the firm by supporting business development activities
  • Support internal firm initiatives to enhance client service and internal capabilities
  • Travel to client site as needed
