Description

You will own the customization and delivery of switchboard designs from concept to manufacturing release. You'll leverage CAD expertise and deep knowledge of UL 891 standards to develop mechanical and electrical prints, while working cross-functionally to bring electrical infrastructure to life.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years in sheet metal manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience designing UL 891-compliant low-voltage switchboards
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials

Responsibilities

• Customize switchboard designs based on customer specifications
• Create detailed mechanical and electrical CAD drawings in SolidWorks adhering to UL 891
• Maintain design documentation and communicate changes to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot design issues during production with manufacturing teams
• Manage multiple design projects and deliver on deadlines
