You'll lead the mechanical architecture and design of Apollo's lower body at a human-centered robotics company. You'll own the complete lifecycle of the hip, leg, knee, ankle, and foot assemblies, ensuring human-like mobility and durability. This role offers high visibility and the chance to shape cutting-edge legged locomotion for real-world deployment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define mechanical architecture for hips, legs, knees, ankles, and feet.
• Lead trade-off studies for power density, range of motion, and stability.
• Design multi-DOF joints for high torque and high cycle life.
• Develop ground contact interfaces for traction and compliance.

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years experience in complex robotic systems.
• Deep expertise in legged locomotion kinematics and dynamics.
• Proven track record designing multi-axis robotic legs or exoskeletons.
• Expert-level proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA).

• Experience with fatigue testing and impact testing.
• Knowledge of actuator integration and force control.
• Prior work on high-load dynamic mechanisms.
