💼 About This Role

You'll join Nightfall's AI Engineering team to create ML/NLP models and Gen AI solutions powering our DLP and security products. You'll lead research and apply modeling techniques to solve security problems, then guide engineers to production. This hybrid role offers the chance to shape the AI Platform's long-term architecture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Hands-on execution to deliver against business goals
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to security problems
• Create, train, and fine-tune NLP and LLM models
• Take model prototypes to production through full ML lifecycle

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on technical development experience
• 7-10 years mentoring and leading Data Science or ML Engineering teams
• Expertise in Python and one additional language (Go, C++, Java, or Rust)
• Proficiency in training custom transformer or large language models

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in high-growth venture-backed startups
• Prior experience in AI for security (PII detection, modeling security risk)
• Experience with AWS and managed infrastructure
