💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a Peer Recovery Specialist/Navigator for the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program in Snohomish County. You'll use your lived experience to support individuals with substance use disorders in accessing recovery services. This role offers meaningful community impact through direct client engagement and collaboration with local partners.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Meet with individuals in various settings to provide recovery support.
  • Use motivational interviewing to assess change readiness.
  • Facilitate warm handoffs to care and community services.
  • Assist clients in goal development through individual and group sessions.

📋 Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Peer Recovery Specialist or similar
  • Knowledge of recovery process and problem-solving strategies

✨ Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Peer and recovery community certification(s)
  • Familiarity with local treatment and overdose prevention services
