💼 About This Role

You'll lead the strategy and growth of embedded insurance solutions for the events market. You'll design and scale insurance programs across carrier partnerships and digital distribution. This role is remote-first at a well-funded startup backed by Y Combinator and top investors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute Tint's insurance strategy for the events vertical
• Lead design and launch of insurance programs with underwriting guidelines
• Build carrier and capacity partnerships for sustainable program structures
• Drive embedded insurance integrations with partner platforms
• Monitor program performance and optimize profitability

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in event, contingency, or specialty insurance
• Proven experience designing or launching insurance programs
• Strong understanding of event-related risk exposures (cancellation, liability, weather)
• Experience working with insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokers

• Experience with embedded insurance or digital distribution models
• Familiarity with event ecosystems (ticketing platforms, event marketplaces)
• Professional certifications such as CIC or CPCU
