Description
As a Software Engineer on the Pathology and Digital Imaging Team, you'll own the software stack powering Neuralink's pathology and histology operations. You'll build scalable systems for tracking specimens, high-performance slide viewers, and AI annotation pipelines, working directly with pathologists and scientists in a tight feedback loop.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong full-stack engineering skills (Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript)
- Experience building software used by real people
- Ability to understand user problems and translate them into software solutions
Responsibilities
- Build tissue specimen tracking systems for histology workflow
- Develop high-performance whole-slide image viewers for billion-pixel microscopy images
- Create annotation and analysis tools for pathologists
- Implement ML annotation pipelines to accelerate tissue data analysis
- Ship fixes and features rapidly based on direct user feedback
